Apple Airprint Server auf Linux

,

CUPS auf Linux verdaut so ziemlich alles an Druckdateien, was man ihm an den Kopf werfen kann, auch Apples Airprint.

Wichtig sind die pdl-Einträge Die CUPS-Version 1.5 vergisst hier einige
Einträge, sodaß man den DNS-SD Support von Cups besser abschaltet und
sich eine eigene Service-Definition in Avahi baut.

 Eine kleine Service-Definition unter /etc/avahi/services und los geht es:

<?xml version=“1.0″ ?>
    <!DOCTYPE service-group  SYSTEM’avahi-service.dtd‘>
    <service-group>
        <name replace-wildcards=“yes“>AirPrint Inkjet @ %h</name>
        <service>
        <type>_ipp._tcp</type>
        <subtype>_universal._sub._ipp._tcp</subtype>
        <port>631</port>
        <txt-record>txtvers=1</txt-record>
        <txt-record>qtotal=1</txt-record>
        <txt-record>Transparent=T</txt-record>
        <txt-record>URF=none</txt-record>
        <txt-record>rp=printers/Inkjet</txt-record>
        <txt-record>note=HP Business Inkjet 2250TN</txt-record>
        <txt-record>product=(GPL Ghostscript)</txt-record>
        <txt-record>printer-state=3</txt-record>
        <txt-record>printer-type=0x82904c</txt-record>
        <txt-record>pdl=application/octet-stream,application/pdf,application/postscript,image/gif,image/jpeg,image/png,image/tiff,image/urf,text/html,text/plain,application/vnd.cups-banner,application/vnd.cups-command,application/vnd.cups-pdf,application/vnd.cups-postscript</txt-record>
        <txt-record>adminurl=ipp://localhost:631/printers/Inkjet</txt-record></service>
    </service-group>
